BACKGROUND STORY: The first time I picked up a basketball was when I was 5 years old, ever since then I loved the sport. Basketball was a way for me to express my creativity and I just loved everything about the sport and all aspects of it. My idol growing up was definitely, Magic Johnson. He was one of the best ever. He did everything on the court and was so versatile, he played every position and even center in the NBA Finals in his rookie season. I love Magic, especially his swagger. The reason I want to be a PHL baller is because I love basketball and this is the best league in the world. Wouldn't hurt to be able to provide for my family. This upcoming season I expect myself to be solid. Hopefully whichever team drafts me, believes in me and I can get a starting job to showcase my skills but I think it will be a good year. The reason I should be first overall is because i'm the only True Essence in the league.
PLAYER NOTES: True Essence is one of the better all around players entering the PHL Draft. He isnt great at anything yet but he does a lot of everything. He'll give you solid perimeter defense, he'll rebound the ball for the SG position and he'll give you buckets and dimes all day. He has a great amount of potential because he's a gym rat, always updating and working on his game. Jamal Crawford is hard nosed player who doesnt care about his own stats, he cares about the team.
