The League is nice and fresh. Here is a team by team analysis to show you guys what is going on around the league. We'll go 29-1. I thought I would try to spice the league up a bit.
29. Indiana Pacers (1-11)
When Danny Granger is your best player... Thats probably not a good thing. Even if Danny Granger is your second best player, thats probably not a good thing either. The Pacers clearly have some work to do. They have no shooters, no real rebounders. Thier Future seems a little foggy...
28. Portland Trailblazers (3-10)
27. Detroit Pistons
26. San Antonio Spurs
25. Golden State Warriors
24. Minnesota TimberWolves
23. Sacremento Kings
22. New York Knicks
21. Phoniex Suns
20. Miami Heat
19. Cleveland Cavs
18. Houston Rockets
17. OKC SuperSonics
Have you ever noticed they don't have a single legit 3 point shooter.
(get a little crowded near the basket in shoot-arounds?) You have to love Kevin Durant. But these guys are a team of the Future.
Isn't it a little bit awkward calling them the Oklahoma City SuperSonics?
16. Dallas Mavericks (8-6)
Can we just call them the Dallas "expiring contracts". Out of 15 players, only two of them have contracts longer than 1 year. And no one has a contract that lasts 3 years. Talk about cap Space. After Trading Dirk, Some people were probably surprised to see them have this kind of success. Josh Howard was .4 rebounds away from becoming the number 1 rebounder on this team. Shows you what kind of rebounding team they are. Well... So far the Mavericks have 4 wins over the T-Wovles, one win over the Blazers, Spurs, and Knicks. they only have 1 Win verse a team thats in the playoffs. None of hte other wins are even close to the playoffs. So that explains this anomaly. Ben Gordon has been averaging 19 PPG in a Mavericks Uniform. After trading away Josh Howard, I expect these guys will drop off significantly.
