In CSSL, people always wanted me to incorporate some sort of Point System with the Salaries. Well I have thought about it, and I have come up with a good idea that I think will have team owners thinking twice when signing players, and vise versa. Also, it will heat up competition, because salaries will actually mean something when your trying to go after a big FA.
AND1's Idea
Each 2 Million is worth 1 Upgrade Point. You will get these points at the beginning of each season, and can be used whenever.
So here is the chart:
2 (Mininum Contract)/3 Million = 1 Point
4/5 Million = 2 Points
6/7 Million = 3 Points
8/9 Million = 4 Points
10/11 Million = 5 Points
12/13 Million = 6 Points
14/15 Million = 7 Points
16/17 Million = 8 Points
18/19 Million = 9 Points
20/21 Million = 10 Points
22/23 Million = 11 Points
24/25 Million (Maximum Contract) = 13 Points
NOTE: If we do incorporate this system, it's effects won't start until the beginning of Season 2!

sounds good to me, so moneyis actually worth sometihg and that makes it more real.

yea this is a great idea it gives us something to do with the money instead of it just being a ceremony type situation.

Sounds good to me too.
Though alot of us signed to small contracts thinking that money isn't worth much.
Would we get the option to re-structure our contracts?

I like that too but I'm afraid of 1 thing. That people may start gettin a lil more greedier now cuz they get upgrade points with the money. IDK, just be me tho

So now you don't want to get the greedy players, just the players who are loyal and want to truely help your team, like in the real NBA. |

or we could set up a player store where the player can buy things that will up his attributes...cause with this system it only makes the best better and the bad worse..and widens the gap between players

Also, I'm not sure even if I had a list because I just set up the D-League. |

Also the salaries are only giving like 2-4 points. Its not gonna make a difference with anything. Already the system we have makes the best better. Like the better players get better stats therefore more points. Right now the active people get better<<< which is huge. |
