- The All Star Game is coming up soon which means that the season is getting closer to the playoffs.
- People better start to strap up and put on extra armor, injuries will be kicking in.
PLAYER RANKINGS
#1 Powerhouse, the league leader with 4 MVP games. He is the #1 ranked MVP because he has increased his output every week. He is an autmatic 25 15 5 5 player now. He is the leader on team converse and led them from an 0-4 start to a 5-5 mid season. Powerhouse may be the first PHL MVP as well as defensive player of the year. Powerhouse is just the ultimate franchise player and if he keeps this up, he may very well be on his way to an MVP.
#2 Ya Boy (AND1): Ya Boy is the ultimate PG you want running your team. Ya Boy is a prime time player and playmaker. Every weeks he shows up and plays more consistent. He's been on an absolute tear as of lately. Usually getting 25+ Points per game and 15+ assists per game. His steals per game, rebounds per game and his field goal percentage has dramatically increased over the season. He has AND1 on a 4 game win streak also.
#3 The Choker (Reebok): A Small Forward playing the PG position. The Choker was a new addition to the league and has already made heads turn. He's the LeBron James or Lamar Odom of the PHL. Every night he gets a triple double or close to a triple double. The Choker is a complete player but he must work on his defensive skills and his ability to score efficiently. He is a viable MVP candidate but he hasn't been here for the time periods that others have been. He will continue to move up the rankings if he continues his play.
45 Bonafide (Nike): Traded about 4 times in one week, Bonafide looks like the traveling man but every team he has been on except Nike has been sucessfull. The reason why he is still on our top 5 MVP rankings is because he has still played superbly. He is a monster when it comes to taking it to the rack. He can shoot the 3 pointer, and he plays both guard positions. He's a team leader that gets the job done every night. He also will get you a triple double every now and then, at the same time swiping 3 or more steals a game. Consistent play is why he is on our list.
#5 Speedy (AND1): Speedy is probably the purest scorer in the league. He rarely has an off shooting night but always will score 35 a night. He is a double double guy every single game and he makes sure to dish out to his teammates. Since he has been on AND1 they have not lost a single game. He is the ultimate scorer with his inside or outside threat. Speedy is a non stop hard worker, a blue collar guy who will do anything for his team to get the W. Speedy has to turn it up, he must get his teammates more incoporated if he wants to be the league MVP.
OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
- Ak47: This is a very versatile player. Week in and week out he is consistent. A double double machine and usually chips in everywhere else on the boxscore. He's been a pleasant suprise in the league.
- Flash: He was one of the top MVP players but his lackluster performances have left him off of the list. He seems to be becoming a one dimensional scorer. He must step it up in other places.
- True Essence: Ever since his move to Reebok he has become a more complete player. Any night he can go off for 40 but he also will chip in 10 rebounds or 5 or more assists. He is a better defender and more versatile player than his days with Nike.
- Chocolate Chip / Show Stoppa: These 2 guys are coming into there own. They are becoming dominant centers in the league. They are becoming defensive stoppers inside and scoring machines in the paint. They still are behind POWERHOUSE as the best center in the league by a wide margain because he's been doing it since day 1.
