Since his entrance to the league Stephen Garcia, or most easily known around the league as Snowflake, has been rather quiet that is until now. Our very own Ben Washington caught up with him two days ago to get the very first interview with the young offensive beast.
Ben: What was it like to enter the PHL?
Snowflake: Well to be honest its just like any other league. Whether that be high school or college, none can stop my shot. I just cannot wait to actually get to start a game to show these people what I can actually do with a basketball in my hands.
Ben: Speaking of your lack of playing time, what do you attribute to it?
Snowflake: Well i honestly couldn't tell you, Ben. I defiantly have the shot to start in this league. with the limited time i see i average about twenty points per game, and thats while only averaging about 28 minutes a game.
Ben: Looks like you really did your homework on this one Stephen. When you signed your contract with Converse were you expecting to be traded like you were so soon?
Snowflake: Whenever you sign a contract you never expect to be traded right away like i was, none ever expects that. It was like once i got settled in with the Converse organization, my agent calls and tells me to pack it back up cause i was just traded to the team that offered me first, Adidas.
Ben: What do you think of the Adidas organization so far?
Snowflake: I love it here, I wish i had signed here in the beginning when they first offered me. We will see how it all plays out here.
Ben: How do you feel about not being a scoring option on the team?
Snowflake: Well it really hurts to know that, seeing as how i have one of if not the best shot in the league. I can score from beyond the arc, mid-range, and inside the paint, also i can jump so i can dunk. I just dont get it, Im one of the biggest scoring treats in the league and im not a scoring option, there is just no logic behid all of that.
Ben: Well thats all the time I have, I'll try to catch up with you later.
Snowflake: I'll be here waiting.
