At the University of Texas two young stars both decided that they would declare for the PHL draft. They both where taken in the third round Spyder by Converse and The Real Deal by Reebok.
These two kids had a huge rivalry when they played against each other because they had so much to prove about themselves, but recently they have become team mates again. This will be a pair everyone will have to watch out for; with all the plays they learned from coach Barnes don't be surprised to see them putting up a lot of points and getting a lot of assists.
"I am glad that we are on the same team again this means we can finally run all those plays that we thought up back in college," said The Real Deal.
In college both The Real Deal were star players for Texas the both started on the team as Freshman and where noticed by Rick Barnes and the other coaches because of their incredible ability to get open on the court.
Spyder was the most athletic SF UT had seen in years and The Real Deal was an agile young force comparable to Vince Carter or Steve Nash. Overall it is going to be tough for any team to face these to, but add the rest of the Converse team and it is going to be a long hard Northern Division.
