Adidas 119, Nike 106 For The Wizz and Adidas, this game against Speedy and Nike felt as critical as a Week 2 game can. After all, Adidas had lost the first game of a twenty game season. So The Wizz arrived at the arena four hours before tipoff, hoisting 3-pointers until he made 250, and an assortment of other shots until he made 150 of those. Then The Wizz came out in his Adidas debut by scoring 21 points -and 7 huge blocks- to lead Adidas past Nike119-106. Saturday night, putting Nike at 0-2. "When The Wizz gets it going,'' teammate AK 47said, "you've got to sit back and relax and let the show go.'' At one point, The Wizz scored 10 of 11 Adidas points. Players from both teams have acknowledged that they're building a bit of a rivalry. Nike and Adidas have been huge competiors on the sports market for years and now are taking it to the courts. Overall, he was 6-of-12 from the field, 7-of-8 from the charity stripe, and a crucial 3 of 3 from behind the arc. Said Speedy: "The way he was in his comfort zone tonight, it didn't matter who was on him.'' Speedy shot 17-for-30 from the field and appeared to grow frustrated with some of the officiating. Totaled up to have a game high 42 points. "I thought LeBron was getting hit all night, and maybe the refs thought it was something different,'' Nike coach said.
