MVP POWER RANKINGS
- It's early in the season and 2 weeks have gone by. Some guys have shown proggression and they are stepping up in the race. Others have fallen off a little. There are a lot of contenders for this award in the first season of PHL. Expect changes ever week and remember to get ya game up!
Biggest Headlines
- With the recent transaction of Bonafide moving from the southern conference to the northern conference this can shake up things.
- True Essence continues to dominate scoring 50 points for the 2nd week in a row. He also added 7 steals which is a league high.
- Ya Boy had a coming out party this week. Traded 2 times in one week he showed up the GMs that traded him, Dropping 30 points and 21 dimes in his first appearance on the AND1 team.
PLAYER RANKINGS

Speedy (NIKE): How can you not rank this guy number one? His recent game has showed why he is considered to be the best Small Forward in all of PHL. His team didn't win the game but Speedy mad e a point. He proved that he isnt a one time wonder and that he is a franchise player. Getting an efficient 40 points and a monsterous 24 rebounds, Speedy is showing why he is so damn good. The numbers don't lie folks. Speedy has been putting on Double Double shows since the beginning of preaseason. If he wants to be the MVP he must work on other aspects of his game. 1 steal and 0 blocks is not going to cut it for becoming the PHL MVP.

True Essence (AND1): True Essence is becoming the elite scorer of the league. Coming out of the draft he was said to be the best shooting guard in the entire league and now that he has moved to play the SF, he is now battling Speedy for the top spot. He may not grab 20 rebounds a night but he'll get the job done. True Essence scored 50 points on a 19 for 30 shooting performance. His coach says he's one of the rare talents. True Essence is becoming a star in this league very quick. He can break you down off the dribble, shoot around screens or straight up bang on you. However he must improve his assist and rebounding numbers. Watch out for True Essence in the future though.

Bonafide (Converse): Bonafide was recently in a trade to come to Converse. So far in his first game he has done nothing but impress. He's the full package. He's the leader of the team and has shown signs of greatness. He almost had a triple double this past week in his game against Team Jordan. He grabbed 13 rebounds from the guard position which is almost unheard of. His playing style can be a bit wreckless at time but he will continue to improve. He has all the tools to becoming the best player in the league but it's up to him to become that player. He has to sustain his intensity and don't allow the haters to bring him down.

Flash (AND1): Probably the most versatile player in the league, Flash did not come to play last week. Sure he scored an efficient 38 points but he also had no blocks and no steals. He is proven to be one of the best scorers in the league but scoring is not what he was known for coming out of the draft. He had a knack for rebounding the ball at the PG spot and getting 15 or more assists a night. His recent move to SG may hurt him in the MVP in the long run.

Little Foot (Jordan): With a lackluster week 2, Little Foot has fallen off. He didnt fall off to the point where he was outside looking in but he must step his game up. He shot 14 of 17 to get 33 points, but where are the assists? 12 assists was good but this guy is known for 15 a game. 0 steals didn't help his MVP case either. He must continue to imrpove upon all aspects of the game and be the Little Foot we all know.

OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
- Ya Boy (AND1): He has shown signs of the player that he is capable of. Scoring 30 and dishing out 21 assists, he can very well be in the MVP Race come week 3.
- Juice / Show Stoppa (Reebok): Both of these guys have shown a lot of potential thus far. Show Stoppa had a terrific game, 24 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. He needs to get his shotblocks up though. Juice brought his A Game week 2. Scoring 25 points, ripping 19 out the air and dishing 5. They have to keep it up for Reebok.
- Chocolate Chip (Adidas): What a mistake it was by Converse of trading this animal. With a statline of 23 points, 25 rebounds and 6 blocks, he has converse looking like boo boo the fool.
