AK 47 makes the cover

Electronic Arts announced today that PHL Pro AK 47 will serve as cover athlete and spokesman for PHL:The Season 2006, scheduled for release this fall under the EA SPORTS brand. AK 47 is in his first season with Adidas, where he is setting franchise records for left and right and is helping to lead Adidas to the top seed in the Southern Division.

"This is quite an honor to be named cover athlete of NBA LIVE in just my rookie year as a professional," AK 47 said. "When you look back at some of the great players who have had this opportunity, it's exciting to be a part of the EA SPORTS family and contribute to a game I've been playing for many years."
