(AP)-
Los Angeles- When Luc Richard M'Bah A Farmar's cell phone rang, he was surprised to see who was on the other line. He cracked a huge smile and you could see a twinkle in the kid's eye. As he sat there chatting for about five minutes, he finally exclaimed, "I'm a Jordan!!" As his mother and fiance rushed up to hug him, he also said that he is likely to be the starter. This was a huge moment for the youngster who remembers,"I just remember watching Mike on TV and wishing that someday I'd get to meet him...I didn't know that I'd end up playing for him." Farmar, out of the University of Los Angeles(UCLA), was made the 28th overall pick. Although many projected him to be a much higher pick, he dropped to the pick and made the Team Jordan GM one of the happiest in the league.

Team Jordan looks to be a top contender this year especially with Farmar on the team. It was a great time when Farmar had finally been drafted. Only two years before, he had been out on the streets at compton, known notoriously for being a drug dealer. Although he seems like a much different person in his collared t-shirts and a couple successful seasons at UCLA. Well, Farmar is expected to be one fo the best bench players in the league although he feels he can start for the team. Team Jordan took "Flex" with their second round pick so he is expected to be the starting Power Forward but Jordan has not ruled out that Farmar could start. Jordan says, "Anything is possible. I think we got a real steal in Farmar and he could start if he improves."
Farmar is looking to improve on an unbelievable career at UCLA.
