Converse, team ready to play.
Powerhouse, the #3 overall pick of the first PHL draft. Immideatly after being drafted by the Converse All Stars he signed a 1 Year / 10 Million Dollar deal. Being drafted by Converse was the Ultimate prize for him. He feels that he will now prosper into the most dominant center this league has ever seen in a long time. Already an aggressive rebounder, he is an excellent shot blocker and offensive force in the paint. Scouts say he has potential to be one of the few player to average a triple double for his career (Blocks, Points, Rebounds). He has been by far the most proggresive player in the league ths far. Some of his quotes after the draft were "I'm just blessed to be a part of this converse assocation. I feel that they are making all the right steps towards becoming a championship contender." He also said "I am a franchise player and I feel that I can become one of the best players in PHL history." General Manager, Omar Russel said that if they had not drafted Powerhouse then they would have drafted Show Stoppa, another great center. Omar feels that in this league the center and point guard are the two most valuable positions. After drafting the extremely versatile Point Guard in "Ya Boy" and the athletic swingman "Spyder", Converse feels they have a core locked up for many years to come. Converse has a lot of competition especially within the divison against rival team And1. If they want to be successful and get to the Finals they are going to have to get through that team and it's going to be a tough task. Converse needs to maxamize their potential all year, and work as a team do great things in this league.
