Pardon The Interruption
MIKE- "Today On PTI, we will be interviewing "Big Blue" or Luc Richard M'Bah A Farmar for todays segment, Five Fastest Minutes. Don't miss me and Tony breaking down his draft chances."
TONY- "Yeah, don't miss this interview it is going to be a good one."
BABY BLUE- "Hey guys, I'm so happy you guys have asked me to come on here. Now, let's get it going."
MIKE: Ok, Luc we want to thank you for coming onto the show with us.
LUC: It's really no trouble! Just another excuse for me to miss class.
TONY: Ok, so let's get right to it...You are a very solid all around basketball player...What is your biggest weakness?
LUC: I have to definately say my handles. I'm not too good of a passer but I'm sure to improve. Let's not forget that I have one of the best J's from inside and outside that anyone has ever seen.
TONY: Ok, ok settle down, we know your very good. Where do you think you should be taken in the draft?
LUC: Well, there is a lot of talent out there. I think that I will be pciked somewhere near 15 because I'm a great all-around basketball player and you really can't go wrong when you pick me.
MIKE: To be honest, I think you should be a top 10 pick. Anyway, what if you are not taken where you think you should be?
LUC: I'll deal with it. I just want to get picked and begin training though. I'm not one of those cats with attitude like "Ballaholic" or "Flash"..it just isn't my style.
MIKE: Who do you think is the best draft prospect out there?
LUC: I definately have to say Ballaholic or Flash. Thos guys are very talented but they do have character issues. Ya Boy is another one who deserves some mention.
Tony: Ok, we have a minute left. Use that time to tell the world why you would be an ideal pcik for a team in the 1st or 2nd round?
LUC: Well...I have incredibe talent when it comes to shooting. My offensive game is set and really polished with the fundamental play they institue at UCLA. I have been learning under the coaching of Lew Alcinder and Bill Walton. They have both taught me a lot of the intricacies of the game and really have propelled me to another level. Also, I'm a great kid who just goes otu and does the job on both ends of the floor. If you want a guy who can give you a steady 35 minutes with a 29 points and 10 rebounds and 3 blocks...I am definately the guy to do it and you will see I do it with great efficiency..I can shoot it at the pace of about 70% and 65% from the 3-point land. Don't sleep on me when draft day comes...I'll be ready to play for any team that is willing to draft me.
MIKE & TONY: TIME! Great job Luc...Thank you for taking the time to talk with us. Good luck in the draft, we know you are going to be a great player and develop into one of the best.
LUC: Thx guys, that really means a lot to me.'
MIKE: Ok, when we get back from commercial, you can't miss us break down...TO traded to Oakland?, The Big Draft Day, and A-Rod out of New York?...
