"The Assassin" with Reggie Bush
RB: So how is it going, Mr. Jones
MJ: Everything is going smooth. Im just buggin out a little over this up coming draft. And please, call me Mike.
RB: Ok, Mike. Having been in the NFL draft this last April, I know all about the pressure and emothion that comes with the draft. How would you feel if you were not drafted in the top 10?
MJ: First off, I would like to say that you deserved the number one spot over Mario. Getting that off my chest, I believe that I am an all-around player and should and will get drafted in the top ten. I will blow a fuse if I am not drafted in the top 10 due to the team's owners relationships with some players.
RB: What do you mean by owners relationships with the players?
MJ: Well some players have really close relationships with the owners. These owners happen to be their agent also. I don't want to be snubbed a high draft spot due to some owners playing favorites with some players. I want the get the money that I deserve.
RB: Do you think that being 6'1", the second smallest player in the league, will have an effect on how owners view you?
MJ: I believe that my height could be an issue, but it shouldn't. Also, my small body also brings good speed and excellent quickness. I think that other taller point guards won't be able to defend this.
RB: Who has had the greatest influence on you as a player and a person?
MJ: I would have to say my coach from my university, Jimmy Boeheim. He has given me great advice and truly turned my attitude around. I used to be a great deal like Maurice Clarett, but Jimmy was able to straighten me out.
RB: Do you think that playing alongside Tiger "AK 47" Woods at Syracuse was a good thing?
MJ: I think that their were advantages and disadvantages. I always had a reliabe option down low to take some pressure off my shoulders. However, with two big egos being so close to each other, it created many conflicts.
RB: Well thats all I need to know. Oh yea, can you tell me where you got your grill?
MJ: Thank you, but I can't tell the world where I got it. Afterwards I'll give you the low-down.
