MJ: So, you are coming off a great Sophomore season at Syracuse University. What made you decide to leave school early without a national championship and enter the draft?
AK: Well Michael, I felt that I was not being treated fairly at school. The coaching staff was always disappointed with my attitude in practice, despite my 25 PPG and 4 blocks per game. I just felt that it was my time to enter the draft.
MJ: Well, you sure proved that you are ready to enter the draft in college. Where do you feel you should be taken in the draft?
AK: I belive that i am a solid top 10 pick. I have the ability to be the superstar of a team, as I can bang around with other big men inside, and I can shoot the ball from outside, even though I am 7'4".
MJ: Do you think that your weight, 225 lbs, will be an issue when defending forwards such as Flex who has a distinct weight advantage on you?
AK: I believe that my strength and my heart can overcome a heavier player. I have worked hard preparing for the draft and improving my strength and quickness.
MJ: My final question for you is, Do you ever think you will ever be as good as me?
AK: (Giggle, Giggle) Now that is a question that I cannot answer now, but a couple of years from now I could.
MJ: I look foward to watching you this upcoming season
