Little is known about John Franco's checkered past. On the record, he did not play high school basketball, and only played in 10 games at UTEP before being locked up for unknown reasons. Why he was locked up to this date is still unknown, and John does not try to advertise why or how he was locked up in prison.
On the athletic side he is an all around player, a great passer who doesn't always get the assists, but a great team player who doesn't have to be the number one scoring option. He drives his game after Ben Wallace, Ron Artest, and Dirk Nowistki and he is known to be one of the game's greatest lock down SG defenders.
PLAYER NOTES:
John is a superb defender, and believes defense comes first and foremost. He can irritate, beat up and manhandle many an opponent and has quick hands that equate to many steals per game. He rebounds great and is a solid 6'9 so the boards will come. John is a great inside scorer first and foremost, and secondly he's a great FT shooter, and an above average three point shooter. His quickness is off the meter, which is why he can defend and play 1-4 positions.
